I’m Changing, and People Don’t Like It

In our group, quiet voices shared their disappointment that other women were not applauding them for all the personal work they did to be MORE MYSELF. We wrote, we shared, we passed the Kleenex box. 

They became aware of over-giving. Giving for approval. The surprise that I asked them to write about, “How is giving a way to control a situation?”

Have you thought about that in your friendships and family? NO judgement.
