News Flash! I am doing the wild thing that could only happen in empty nest. I am going to Europe to meet my daughter
who is a junior and studying abroad.

We always had this dream, but it was a dream. Now, I am
packing. She is so excited. It took courage and trust for me to leave my projects.

I feel so grateful that I
can do this with her. After she graduates college next year, hopefully, she will get a job, move, and probably only

I have been reading alot about “this”, and I find my situation is a little different. I am 58 years old, been thur menopause, and am ALREADY on 150 mg Zoloft daily, have been since 1996. I have two sons, one is 38 the one still at home is 25. Yes, they ae 13 years apart. Both so totally different. The oldest I HAD to make leave at 18 because he was turning into a BUM!(Thankfully he saw the errors of his ways, and has turned out to be a wonderful father, husband AND SON. The 25 year old is my problem. He will finish college in about 3 months, has finally met his “soul mate” and plans to go into the ministry. How lucky could a mom get, right. I don’t think he will be leaving for at least a year, but these feelings are so overwhelming, I feel like going off somewhere and just dying.I have alot more to say, but this is probably not the place to do so. So, if someone does answer this, maybe I can REALLY pour out these dreadful and lost feelings that are consuming me each and everyday!
    Thx, Becky Knott
