May 21, 2006 | by Natalie Caine | 2 Comments

Anticipating the empty nest or sitting in it is a time for re-envisioning and reinventing your life.

During the
process here are some ideas:

1. Keep your home beautiful – Get rid of clutter. Add something you love
to look at.

2. Exercise – To stay motivated have a variety of things to do.

3. Stay aware
of your worst time of day – If your worst time is when it gets dark, plan to make a dream collage with old magazines,
check in with a friend on the phone or email.

4. Be flexible – Take a little risk. Remind yourself you get

I am going to miss my daughter and son when they move. My daughter is filling out applications for an apartment already and she graduates from High School in two weeks. My son 19 just got a job roofing and he is also moving out in 2 weeks. I can’t stop crying. I miss them already. I feel like I am being abandoned. Is this normal. I am an only child and my mother and grandmother are both dead. I have no one. I am so sad. I don’t want my children to move. Other countries like china live with their
parents and make their families bigger. Her in the USA they move away from us. I am so depressed. I can’t stop crying. They want me to be happy for them. I am scaired for them and me. I hope I am not being selfish. I just love my children. They are leaving me. This sucks.
