    Natalie. . . your daughter is so blessed to have a mom like you. I too have a daughter that just went away to college, but not quiet so far. We talk every day and she always calls when there’s something new and exciting in her life. I can’t imagine how hard it would be if we weren’t close or had problems stemming from high school years, like one mom I know. Her daughter is so glad to get away from her and never calls. But, I see this transition turning us from just mom and daughter into best friends.
