Empty Nest Will Fill for Some at Thanksgiving

Children are coming home for Thanksgiving. Parents are writing cooking and shopping lists, decorating the house, and leaping a little quicker out of bed in happy anticipation of their children sleeping in their rooms again, and chatting together in the kitchen.

    My son will be here for Thanksgiving….and home from college for about 10 days….so very glad he’ll be home that long, and I know it will be hard when he leaves again!
    I have tons to do to get ready for our big Thanksgiving feast!

    Hi Natalie!
    Thanks again for your e-mail. This Holiday, my wife and I are invited to a friends house whom I have known since the 3rd grade. He extended an invitation to my daughter and her significant others including her child but who knows what she will do. Probably not go with us. But you know what, that’s ok I could use some adult time, without all of the childcare issues.
    By the way, I hope you have the best of holidays.
